Our Assisted Home Care service is designed for individuals who require ongoing assistance but prefer a home environment rather than an institutional setting. Care is delivered with dignity, consistency, and respect for each resident’s independence.

Who This Service Is For

Assisted Home Care is appropriate for individuals who:

  • Need assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Benefit from a supervised residential environment

  • Prefer a smaller, home-based setting

  • Are medically stable and under the care of a licensed physician

  • Require ongoing support rather than short-term recovery care

Residents may include older adults or individuals with functional limitations who do not require acute or hospital-level care.

Residential Support Services Provided

Daily Living Assistance

Support may include assistance with:

  • Bathing, grooming, and hygiene

  • Dressing and personal care

  • Toileting and continence support

  • Mobility and transfers

  • Meal support and hydration reminders

  • Medication Reminders

Services are tailored to each resident’s assessed needs.

Home & Safety Support

  • Supervised, home-like living environment

  • Safety-conscious layout with mobility supports

  • Structured daily routines

  • Calm, respectful atmosphere that promotes well-being

Personalized Support Planning

  • Level of Care (LOC) assessed at move-in

  • LOC re-assessed every three months or as needed

  • Support adjusted based on functional needs and tolerance

Observation & Coordination

  • General observation of functional status and well-being

  • Communication with family or responsible parties as appropriate

  • Support with adherence to physician-directed routines

Residents remain under the care of their physician and medical providers at all times.

What We Do NOT Provide

To ensure transparency and safety, Assisted Home Care does not include:

  • Medical diagnosis or treatment

  • Skilled nursing services

  • Hospital, rehabilitation, or acute care

  • Medication prescribing or medical decision-making

  • Emergency medical services

  • Care for medically unstable individuals

  • Care requiring two-person transfers or hoyer lifts

MiCasaShalom Assisted Care LLC is not a medical facility or nursing home.

Living Accommodations

Residents may be offered:

  • Private or shared rooms, based on availability

  • Access to shared living spaces

  • A peaceful, residential atmosphere designed for comfort and stability

Pricing & Fees

Monthly rates are based on:

  • Room type (private, shared, or master bedroom)

  • Level of Care (LOC) required

Current pricing includes:

  • Private room

  • Shared room

  • Master bedroom (single occupancy)

  • Community fee

Level of Care (LOC) Add-On:

  • Ranges depends on assistance needs

Rates are reviewed as care needs change.

Professional Boundaries

MiCasaShalom Assisted Care LLC:

  • Provides non-medical assisted home care

  • Does not replace physician or home health services

  • Operates within a clearly defined scope of residential support
