We believe individuals and families deserve a clear understanding of the services we provide — and the services we do not provide — so expectations are aligned from the beginning.

MiCasaShalom operates as a home-based, non-medical support provider offering two distinct service pathways:

  • Short-Stay Post-Operative Recovery Care

  • Assisted Home Care (Residential Support)

Each service follows a clearly defined scope.

What We ARE

A Home-Based Support Environment

We provide supportive services in a safe, calm, residential setting designed to promote comfort, dignity, and well-being.

A Non-Medical Support Provider

All services offered by Mi Casa Shalom Assisted Care LLC are non-medical in nature and focus on:

  • Assistance with daily living

  • Comfort and safety support

  • Structured routines

  • Observation and timely escalation when concerns arise

  • Diet appropriate nourishment

Short-Stay Post-Operative Discharge Support

For post-operative clients, we provide:

  • Short-term post discharge support (3–5 days)

  • Assistance with mobility, hygiene, and daily needs

  • A quiet recovery-focused environment

  • Transportation support related to surgery discharge and first follow-up visit, when applicable

  • Observation and escalation according to surgeon instructions

Assisted Home Care (Long Term Residential Support)

For residents, we provide:

  • Ongoing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • A supervised residential environment

  • Personalized support based on assessed needs

  • Regular reassessment of Level of Care (LOC)

  • Home cooked meals, snacks

  • Housekeeping, Laundry, Medication Reminders

A Service That Works Alongside Medical Providers

All clients and residents remain under the care of their physician, surgeon, or licensed medical providers at all times.
MiCasaShalom supports — but does not replace — medical care.

What We Are NOT

To ensure transparency and safety, MiCasaShalom Assisted Care LLC is not:

  • A hospital, clinic, or licensed medical facility

  • A nursing home or skilled nursing facility

  • A home health agency

  • An acute care or rehabilitation center

  • A provider of medical diagnosis or treatment

  • A provider of medication prescribing or medical decision-making

  • A provider of emergency medical services or ambulance transport

We do not provide skilled nursing services, invasive medical procedures, or medical therapies.

Important Clarifications

  • Services are non-medical and supportive only

  • Medical stability is required for admission

  • Emergency services (911) will be activated when indicated

  • Separate intake, consent, and scope documents apply to each service line

  • Length of stay and level of support are clearly defined in advance
